This full renovation transformed a deteriorated hillside structure into a refined modern residence that strengthens its relationship with the surrounding landscape. The project rebuilt the home from its original stone foundation, introducing a cohesive architectural composition defined by gabled volumes clad in weathered wood siding and anchored by natural stone elements that reference the original masonry. A contrasting black entry volume connects the wings, establishing a clear and balanced architectural identity. The redesigned layout improves flow, light, and functionality, resulting in a warm contemporary home rooted in material authenticity and thoughtful proportion.
