This expansion introduces a rear addition and outdoor dining patio for Whiskey River Bar & Grill within the historic downtown corridor of Peekskill, transforming an underutilized service yard into a vibrant customer-focused environment. The design incorporates a steel-framed canopy, layered landscape elements, and integrated lighting to establish a welcoming and functional outdoor dining experience. A custom engineered retaining wall supports the adjacent municipal parking lot, allowing the addition to integrate seamlessly into the sloped urban site. Black steel detailing and railing elements reference the building’s industrial character while introducing a clean, contemporary architectural expression, expanding the restaurant’s capacity and strengthening its connection to the surrounding community.
