Taco District Facade Renovation
This façade renovation within the Downtown Historic District of Peekskill reimagines a dated storefront as a bold, contemporary street presence while maintaining compatibility with its historic surroundings. The design introduces a new storefront system with black aluminum framing and expansive glazing to increase natural light, strengthen visual connections to the street, and support expanded dining visibility. Carefully selected trim colors and signage reinforce the restaurant’s brand identity while complementing the existing architectural context. Mandra Workshop guided the project through historic preservation review and approvals, balancing modern expression with contextual sensitivity to create an open, welcoming, and cohesive façade.
